Brean Down, Somerset
Nikon D3300 with a Tamron 70-300 mm Macro Lens
This Image was taken from the top of Brean Down in Somerset on a stormy afternoon, I ventured up to Brean Down to capture some moody stormy Seascapes/ Landscapes and when I got to the top I looked straight down towards the beach and noticed how the waves where layered and moving with the wind which I found interesting to photograph but I then Noticed this one soul just wandering along the beach on this stormy day and I then thought that this would make a strong, Powerful and Emotive Image because the soul was alone on a beach on one of the worst days of the year to be on a beach and with a simple black and white retouch, it created that Emotive, Powerful effect because you dont know who that soul is or how they are felling so it created a sense of mystery to the shot as well. My equipment used was a Nikon D3300 with a Tamron 70-300 mm Macro Lens and my settings for the shot where F-Stops F/11 Exposure Time of 1/640 Seconds and an ISO of 200
