Description

Last Night of the Proms 2019 captured by Loftus Media photographer, Mark Allan. The image shows conductor Sakari Oramo centre-stage at this iconic annual event. Mark says: "It’s not often you get to see a conductor facing the audience. I had covered numerous Proms in the 2019 season for the BBC but on the Last Night was booked for the start of the LSO’s season at the Barbican. After a late night race across London I managed to capture the last 10 minutes in the Hall as the evening reached its crescendo."
