Description

This photograph was taken at the 2018 Lewes Bonfire Parade held annually always on the 5th November also known as Guy Fawkes Night. I wanted a take a picture that captured the sense of the occasion of the Lewes Bonfire Parade. Most pictures I took this particular evening had lots of members of seven bonfire societies parading through Lewes with their fire buttons. I like the simplicity of this picture that also captures not only the members of one of the bonfire societies, but also the spectators and also the old buildings of Lewes.
