Description

For me it’s not always the anticipated shots that reveal the real character of the animal or pet that you are photographing. This image was captured during a pet photography session at a clients home during a cuppa and a chat. I noticed Rufus the beautiful chocolate Siamese cat starring straight at me through the leaves of the house plant that stood between him sitting on his favourite chair and me across the room. His eyes remained fixed on me as I took a few shots and it wasn’t until I started processing the images later that day that this image turned out to be mine and the clients favourite shot of the day. Camera Settings – Manual Mode, 1/200, f6.3, ISO 1600, 400mm
