Nikon D500 with Sigma 50mm 1.4 Art lens, Nikon SB700 flash and Roundflash Dish

Description

I was at my sister's house for a family event when my niece decided to her hamster run around on the sofa. I followed the hamster with a camera in one hand and flash in the other, waiting for an opportunity to photograph her. She performed better than I could have hoped, appearing briefly from behind the cushion and sitting up to look at me. Settings: f2.8 1/200 ISO 200 Shot in Raw and edited in Lightroom. I made some local adjustments to the hamster to make her stand out from the sofa, increasing the exposure, shadows, whites, contrast and clarity.
