Macro
Bigbury on Sea, Devon, England
Nikon D7000, Laowa Wide Angle Macro, R1c1 Flashes, Custom diffusers
After purchasing a wide angle macro I was desperate to try it out ..The wide angle macro is by far the hardest lens I have ever tried to use as you have to do everyhting manually as well as play around with many different lighting solutions to achieve even light across the wide view. In Bigbury on sea there is a regular spot I take macro photos at because the diversity of invertebrates is incredible during the summer as the small patch of land next to the beach is generally left undisturbed. This was one of those magic moments when I was photographing a Six Spot Burnett moth by hand and a Soldier Beetle landed on the Thistle in the background and all the components came togethor.
