Shiretoko Peninsula in the port town of Rausu, Hokkaido, Japan
Canon EOS 7D Mark II, EF100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II USM - f/10, 1/1250, ISO 640
Over on the Shiretoko Peninsula in the port town of Rausu is where we first saw the Steller’s sea eagle. The sky was full of eagles and it was truly a magnificent experience t see these stunning eagle soaring through the sky. The challenge was the weather and trying not to freeze the equipment. Trying to capture the bird in flight at the right moment was also a challenge
