When I first pre-visualised this image I didn't know it will take me two and a half years to eventually capture it. You have maybe two days a month when you can take it. It needs to be twilight and it needs to be a full moon. Since the moon rises roughly an hour later every day you can't always capture it at twilight at the same spot. Then you need to get lucky both with cloudless skies and some deer on the hill at the same time. Not easy if you live in the west coast of Scotland, but certainly helps if you live on an island where there is 5000 of them.
