Mong Kok, Hong Kong
Sony A7CII, Sigma 28-70mm f2.8
Hong Kong is famous for its bustling, crowded streets, but some places turn surprisingly quiet at night. This photo was taken at a local market in Mong Kok after all the stalls had closed. Jen and her fiancé, dressed in 1960s Hong Kong fashion, embraced and kissed passionately—an expression of love that would have been frowned upon by the social norms of that era. The contrast created a fascinating atmosphere. A meaningful detail: the Cheongsam (Qipao) Jen wore was a vintage piece passed down from her mother. Shot at f/2.8, 1/40s.
