Macro
this picture was take in my garden where i have let nature reclaim the land.
i used the Olympus OM-1 with the 60mm Olympus macro lens. hand held taken in one shot.
On a sweltering June afternoon, the garden seemed to pause beneath the weight of the heat. In the shade, I found a butterfly hanging upside down, poised in stillness as rays of light pierced through the leaves above. The world was harsh and bright, yet here was a fragile moment suspended between shadow and sun. With my camera set to ISO 200, f/4.5, and 1/1250, I captured that delicate balance—the fleeting shimmer of wings in the glow, a breath of calm in the heavy summer air. This photograph is not just of a butterfly, but of a quiet pause in time: fragile, fleeting, and full of wonder. How the feeling of a mother's nature way to cope is amazing.
