Low Light Photography
Mwnt, Wales

I've been waiting a long time for this shot! The old church at Mwnt is one of my favourite places for night sky photography but requires a 2.5 hour round trip. when I saw a favourable northern lights forecast I knew I had to head to the Ceredigion coast to try to capture it. I arrived to a gentle pink glow in the sky, easily visible with the naked eye, and families from a nearby holiday park who had travelled to a dark area to view it. They were amazed by the colours that the camera picked up during longer exposures and were thrilled that they witnessed this very special moment in time - as was I!
