Description
Photographed at Meatopia festival in London, this image captures the anticipation of tasting freshly prepared food at one of the event’s sampling stations. Shot with a 24-70mm lens at f/3.5, I used the shallow depth of field to emphasise the textures and colours of the food while keeping the background lively and atmospheric. My intention was to showcase the sensory experience of Meatopia — the smoke, the craftsmanship, and the communal act of sharing food. The challenge was working in a fast-moving, crowded environment, where moments like this are fleeting and must be caught instinctively.
