Pictured is Charra Tea, a Drag queen originally from Belfast, and contestant on Rupaul's Drag Race UK Season 6. Charra Tea is known as the 'Primary Coloured Pricess' due to her signature Red, Blue and Yellow costumes and makeup. This photoshoot was inspired by Chappell Roan and took a couple of months of planning, brainstorming and chatting from having the costume and wig designed to the photoshoot day. A week prior to this photoshoot, Charra Tea located three very beaten up Ikea stools (pictured) painted a pale shade of red, blue and yellow. I took myself off to Audenshaw to collect the free stools, sending a video of the stools to Charra Tea in the process who exclaimed that I could just edit out the scuffs. To cut a long story short, I made my life slightly harder and spent that day sanding and painting the stools with Acrylic paint to bring them back to their former glory, which I am incredibly glad I took the time to do as the stools turned out better than I could've imagined and really brought each individual element of the photo together.
