Description
I recently attended a horse racing event at Edinburgh's Musselburgh Racecourse and while most of my images were candid photos of the guests within the racegrounds itself, it was as I left to go home that I took my favourite image of the day. These girls, still in their race day finery, shoes abandoned and high-street fast food being consumed. I loved the juxtaposition of their elegent attire with their evening meal and the contrast of the girls with the more 'regular' people simply waiting at the bus stop -- the lady sitting down on the left looking across at them, the post of the bus stop acting as an almost literal dividing line between the two groups.
