Description
I recently had to shoot the new OnePlus 13 for CNET and I wanted to create a visual that would allow the phone to stand out. I liked the product's ice-white look and I wanted to emphasise that by creating an almost laboratory feel to the image, with cool blue tones and a clean mirrored surface below. There was something missing though and I decided to take a shot with my own hand in, holding the phone gingerly between two fingers as though carrying an experimental test tube. I was already wearing white cotton gloves to avoid getting fingerprints on the product or set and they add the perfect 'clean room' aesthetic to the image.
