Bempton Cliffs, Yorkshire
Canon R5II, RF 600mm
0530am arriving at the cliff top, standing in fog and being blown around by gusts of wind and then, the sunrise breaks through the mist and carries this glow that illuminates the birds, as they're starting their day. Pure magic! I found a spot where the gannets were flying in on the updraft and hovering mid-flight before coming in to land, to get some grass to take back to their nest. I carefully followed this gannet in flight and laughed to myself when it seemed that his landing between this group, wasn't very appreciated! They are such great characters!
