Whilst waiting for a perched Peregrine to take off from the top of a cliff & hunt one of the thousands of flying Puffins below it, I caught a glimpse of a pair of Puffins squabbling on top of this rock pillar & the rising sun was just above the horizon. As I instantly moved the 10m to line the sun directly behind them for a spectacular image, unfortunately they flew off out to sea for another beak full of Sand Eels before I could take the shot. I thought the chance had gone but I sat ready in position & hoped another bird would land there. I waited 4 or 5 minutes only until this particular bird returned from the ocean to land in the perfect spot. I particularly love the tiny water droplets as it spread it`s wings & gave a good shake.
