I had seen this pool between two buildings from the train many times. On this blustery February day, I decided to see if I could find it. I wasn't expecting anyone to be swimming, but the sky was a great backdrop with moody clouds and intermittent sunshine. I like the dynamic shape created by the V of the two buildings and the light on the water in the pool against the darker, moody skies. Of course, seeing a swimmer thirty feet above you is always going to be a surreal experience, and this is a huge part of the attraction of this image.
