Mamiya RZ67ii + 110mm lens. Kodak Portra 120 film.
I was asked to photograph a friend's wedding and so I wanted to make their couple's portraits really special and unique. Whilst researching wedding photography styles, I'd seen 'multiple exposure' wedding photography created digitally, however I wanted to make something tangible, using light and photochemistry to make some pure magic. So, I decided to try double exposures on 120 film. I shot one roll of film, ten shots in total, and this was my absolute favourite, and the couple were blown away. I shot this with my Mamiya RZ67 hand held, capturing the mid portrait first and the full length second.
