Description

This gentleman stuck out a mile off when I spotted him wandering through St Enoch Square in Glasgow. Although I do think he may have been a tourist given the rucksack and carrier bags over a Glaswegian, his tartan trousers certainly make him a distinctive character. My initial thought was to go and ask him to let me take his portrait as he looked a great and interesting subject. Then as he started walking towards this kilt shop and finally stopped and started looking into the window. I felt this was a far better street photography image of having the man wearing tartan trousers gazing into a shop window full of kilts looking like he is eyeing up his next tartan purchase. So I quickly moved and changed position to be able to grab the shot that you see here.
