Description

In the province of Quang Nam lives a lady called Mrs Song. Her face is familiar to those who visit Vietnam as she had been photographed a number of years ago by a photographer whose image went viral. Not wanting to recreate someone else's work I wanted to put my own spin on this beautiful lady. Visiting her house it became evident that the front room was to prove fruitful. The old paint on the walls and the chair in the middle of the room. When she sat in the chair for a moment she gazed towards the window. The soft afternoon light created a beautiful Rembrandt shadow across her face.
