Description

The handsome lil dude you see before you is a full-of-life Havenese called Louis. He came up to the North-West from the South-East with his Mama and Nana for an epic adventure on the Nick of Pendle. On the day of his shoot, the skies developed from a whispy blue to a stormy grey as the session wore on. To my surprise, it was the stormy grey (very typical of this year's British weather) that struck me the most because of the stark contrast the clouds created behind my gorgeous little model. For this shot, I scrambled up the slope in search of a perfect Louis-sized rock so I could give him a bit of elevation out of the grass and into the blue-grey sky. I had his Mama stand in front of him with my light, just off to the side to highlight and accentuate the delightful ripples in his coat and sparkle in his eyes.
