Description

Douglas was taken at a private address in Bristol on a Kodak Hawkeye Portrait No2 with 1000w halogen lamp on Ilford 120 FP4. All Hawkeye cameras have their own personalities, this one being that it slightly fogs the whole frame. Shot with a singular beauty dish with lamp on half power, aided by the lower iso of fp4, it created the desired thin negative. Douglas was perfect, just sat up straight staring at the camera, giving the end result a regal and well-deserved “I’m the boss” portrayal.
