Description: A re-appropriation of model railway figurines. Earlier this year I purchased some 1/87 scale movie figurines from a model maker in Indonesia (intended for model railways). The detail on these tiny figurines is incredibly impressive, and so photographing them was relatively straight forward. The challenge came as I tried to find an amusing way of placing them within a scene that was both ridiculous, but also encapsulated the feel of the scene from which they are taken within the movie. So, here we have the famous scene from Titanic playing out on top of an Iron. Jack: "Close your eyes Rose." Rose: "I'm ironing Jack, I'm ironing!" Camera settings: ISO 100 - f/3.5 - 1/3-sec Lit using x2 small Viltrox light panels.
