Description
As a kid, I dreamt of growing up to be an explorer. I would read of people who discovered new places and returned home to tell stories of amazing worlds they had found. These days it’s nearly impossible to find somewhere like that. Everything has been explored, everything captured and photographed. I had the privilege of visiting one of the world’s last wild places. NEOM, Saudi Arabia allowed me the chance to live out that childhood dream as I explored lands untouched and yet to be experienced by the rest of the world. This is a self-portrait captured in the mountains of NEOM, Saudi Arabia, with the Canon 5Ds R on an interval timer.
