Description

This is an unpublished image from the shoot for Trouble Every Day, a new book exploring trans identity through paganism, rituals, and Edenic landscapes. I had the pleasure of working on this project alongside some incredibly talented fellow queer artists and surrounded by the beautiful scenery of Sydenham Hill Woods. As Eddie put it themselves, this project aims to highlight an “alternative timeline to our erasure, while centering and celebrating trans and queer people in aesthetic fashions and regalia we wouldn’t have had access to”. For me, this was an opportunity to explore new aesthetic and creative approaches, while embracing my own relationship to queerness, the supernatural and their intersection.
