Description

This photo is inspired by Lashana Lynch's role as Miss Honey in the film Matilda the Musical. We had a monochromatic set and created a set inspired by her classroom in the film. The floating chairs were to represent the magical abilities of Matilda and we wanted to bring that concept into her fashion story promoting the film for the editorial we were shooting. In the shot she brought forward her dancing experience and was creating these beautiful shapes dancing among chairs that looked like they were dancing around her too. The result was truly magical in a Simone Rocha dress.
