Description

Notting Hill Carnival, commonly referred to as the largest street party in Europe, kicks off at 6am during the J'Ouvert opening ceremony in Notting Hill. Revellers cover themselves and each other head to toe in colourful powders and paint bringing a much more colourful start to the ceremony as opposed to the Caribbean countries which they tend to cover themselves head to toe in oil. The atmosphere at 6am on a Sunday is terrific.
