During my travels in Kuala Lumpur, I was captivated by the Petronas Towers. The issue was that it was one of the most recognisable buildings in the world, so it was difficult to try and get a unique perspective of the structure. During my last night in the city, I went to the Petronas Towers for sunset, and decided to take some photos with my drone. Due to local drone regulations, I was unable to fly to the required height to get a 'top-down' shot of the towers, so instead I had to slowly manoeuvre around the peaks of the towers, taking several shots with the aim of combining them into a panorama. After taking the photos, I rushed back to my hotel room, and after stitching together 7 photos, I ended up with this cityscape panorama shot of the Petronas Towers from directly above. I have been travelling long-term for a few years now, and to this day it is still my favourite photo I have captured. With the rise of social media, it is hard to get a unique take on a place, but I'm proud to say I did my best to get something a little different during my visit to the Petronas Towers.
