Description

The summer sun lights up thick condensation billowing out of a portable barbecue and casts a silhouette of my friend, who was checking on a set of chicken drumsticks. The cloud escape was so dramatic that I grabbed my smartphone to shoot this image. The backlight, the smoke and the silhouette gives the image an intriguing and otherworldly feel. A few other friends saw this photo on my phone, and then queued up later to pose for a recreated effect with the smoke.
