Description

In 38 degree heat, the air inside is cool whilst outside is uncomfortably close. Yet ironically, walking past this cafe in Osaka, Japan, the indoor lambent glow juxtaposed against harsh tungsten emphasises the biggest warmth of all; human connection. Unfamiliar cities can present as monsters; not dear Osaka. The vastness has dispersed at the pull of this moment and brings clarity. As we are humming, my eyes dance to the right; I recognise this scene in an instant because I came here to meet my beautiful sister.
