Olympus OM-1 300mm F4.0

Description

Taken at 1/2500 f4.0 ISO 400 with an Olympus OM-1. Oval restrictions allow hand held cameras only, so side on a 300mm lens works well. I hope the image stands on its own, but it was a key point of the 5th Ashes test, it took a long time for the third umpire to decide it was not out, only to be proved later that it was actually out. I had been trying to get a similar seat for a while, and it finally became available to purchase at 10:59 on the morning of the 2nd day. Three trains later I was in my seat by 12:15 and luckily in time to capture the image. It helped that the square leg umpire was just to the right, so didn't block my view.
