Description

This image was taken on a trip to Glencoe in the Scottish Highlands. The mountain in the background (Buachaille Etive Mòr) is a place of great significance for my family. My Uncle, an accomplished mountain climber, tragically died while descending the Buachaille in 1971. Allthough I never got to meet him, stories of Bill and the things he achived have been a great inspiration to me throughout my life. I wanted to visit Glencoe and create an image to remember this significant place. My dog, best friend and travel companion; Ted the poodle features in the photo and I think he perfectly captured the poignancy.
