Description

This image was created within a studio setting in my client's home and was achieved with perspex and some liquid cat treat smeared onto the perspex for the cat to lick. I had two pixapro CITI600pro's in narrow softboxes positioned directly either side of the cat, to reduce/eliminate reflections on the perspex. We then placed a tiny pea-sized amount of liquid cat treat onto the centre of the perspex sheet and as the cat licked the food, I took multiple photos - looking for the perfect shot that presented the tongue out of the mouth so that the spikes of the tongue were visible. Taken on my Nikon d500 and sigma 20mm 1.4 art lens with two pixapro citi600pro lights to camera left and right. The camera settings were: ISO 100, F/9, 1/250sec.
