Monument Valley, Arizona, USA
Leica Q (116)
The visitors centre at Monument Valley was pretty deserted. It was a January road trip through Arizona and the weather wasn't great. Also cloud covered the rocks for a while and I had come a long way to see them. But something about the millenia old mittens and the crisp new painting and tarmac (a few feet from where Ansel Adams made his iconic shot of the valley) created a nice contrast while I waited for the cloud to clear. The stop sign is a wonderful tautology - a nice visual gag. ISO:400 f16 @f/320
