Description

I am often inspired by the word around me, and have been getting the tube pretty much daily for years. This inspired me to loving recreated the London Undergrounds tube fabrics out of cake and sweet with food stylist Angela Drake. I call this series ‘Sweet Seats’. This image is the TFL Jubilee line seat fabric deliciously recreated using cake, icing, Nerds candy, and strawberry laces. This one took 2 days to create and photograph. I was hoping that TFL might display it in their ‘Art on the Underground’, but sadly this didn’t happen as they don’t promote sweets in any of there advertising.
