On a Pathfinder Railtours excursion in Devon
NikonZ9, 24-70mm lens, 1/125 second, F4.5, ISO 1250
I had the privilege of capturing a special moment with Katie, who was silver serving in Premier Dining on a special Pathfinder Railtours excursion to Devon and Cornwall. The first-class carriage on this train provides passengers with a unique opportunity to step back in time and relish the experience of being pampered and waited on. One of the remarkable aspects of this journey is the food service. All the meals are meticulously prepped and freshly cooked onboard as the train travels along its route. It's a blend of culinary excellence and the nostalgia of a bygone era. What made this moment even more enchanting was the soft, natural light streaming through the windows of the MK1 railway carriage. This lighting created the perfect ambiance for me to capture the scene. It added a touch of authenticity to the photograph, accentuating the elegance and charm of the experience. It was a snapshot of a journey where modern comfort and vintage luxury seamlessly intertwined, and Katie's service was an integral part of making it unforgettable.
