Description

Part of a series. A 14th century Portuguese farmers stone cottage in a remote section of the Algarve. Stripped back to the raw elements that exemplify the beauty in its simplicity. Everything is white to reflect the sun, except the pop of colour coming from the clothes pegs. My desire for the whole series was to capture individual details, colours or angles I felt gave the cottage its individuality as a home against the persistent white & blue Mediterranean backdrop. Shot on Kodak Gold 200, f/4, 1/1000
