We had takes where the model is centre of the frame, the jump perfectly composed. But I prefer this unconventional composition because it gives you the sense that Lara is jumping through the frame - as though you haven't quite turned your head quickly enough to see the start of the jump. It also reminds me of street photography, the sort of documentary shots taken in a moment where there isn't enough time to compose things "perfectly". It feels more genuine, more authentic somehow. I shot at 1/3200th of a second to freeze the jump. The aperture is at f/2.8.
