Canon EOS 6D Mark II with Elinchrom RX-4s

Description

This image came about as an initial concept for my client Fears Watch Company, who would soon release their limited edition watch based on an older model from 1930, along with a new old stock movement. Immediately I wanted to incorporate a flavour of Art-Deco but in a more modern way. As well as this the watch is rectangular so the background elements had to reflect that as well while still showcasing the themes we aimed to create. Using the oxblood colour from the watch strap in the background as well as the champagne colour from the watch dial I created a setup that came together as a modern take on the beautiful Art-Deco illustrations of the past, to display this product in a way where it is at home in 1930 but ultimately still in the present.
