Description

I visited Calais to explore the beach huts. With this set of huts I wanted to contrast the rolling sand dunes with the angular structure of the beach huts. A long exposure added a smooth texture to the clouds which helps the huts to stand out. I converted it to B&W as I wanted to create a very graphic and striking image.
