Description

Taken on the Norfolk coast, on a public beach, I came across this lovely grey seal relaxing near the sea. It was a bright day and having my settings very slightly over exposed I was able to create this monochrome high contrast, minimalist shot, an idea I had in my mind for a long time. I loved the way the seal was posing, so laid back and relaxed in its natural environment, which was wonderful to see. I took this photo using my Canon 70D cropped sensor and Canon 100-400mm ii lens for extra reach, as it’s so important not to get too close or disturb these amazing creatures.
