Water Life
Isle of Mull
Nikon D850 & Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8
I'd spent the morning photographing an Otter fishing in a loch on the Isle of Mull, where this individual regularly came ashore to eat its prey. After a couple of hours and seemingly unfazed by my presence, the Otter began to groom itself and proceeded to curl up and sleep amongst the seaweed, only 1-2 meters in front of me. At this point I was laying on the shore and managed to switch my telephoto lens for my 24-70mm lens, allowing me to capture this image of the Otter sleeping whilst showing off the environment that it lives.
