Description

The old part of Valencia city. Sony 7 aII with 35 mm lenses. I waited for 20 minutes in the same place to see what people passed by and took quite a few images. The image was taken from inside an old University now used for exhibitions with a background of the Patriarch walls, which have been a National Monument since 1962 and are one of the best examples of Renaissance architecture. F5.6, 1/500, ISO 800. I was impressed by these two beautiful buildings and I wanted to show the contrast between the old and the day-to-day city activity like this man o on his bike probably commuting to work. The doors are very symbolic with this huge size inviting people to learn and the light was a great part of the picture showing the wall's texture and reflecting in the whole image.
