You’re truly spoilt for choice when it comes to aerial photography in Iceland and much of it’s beauty can only been seen from a few hundred ft in the air. Amongst many of the abstract formations captured during this trip, this specific photograph stood out most to me. I think it’s spectacular how the mixture of minerals amalgamate to form such a unique pattern. The beauty of abstract photography and art is that it is subjective and it may be interpreted in an abundance of ways. For me, I see a crescent moon at the heart of an explosion.
