Description

Nicki Smith, Wiltshire Air Ambulance pilot runs through pre flight checks in the services Bell 429 Helicopter. Cockpits are difficult areas to photograph in due to their compact size and equipment layout. By taking a low angle and extreme wide angle, I was able to frame Nicky in her 'office' environment. The pilot is usually lost in the moment of intense concentration and forward thinking, this image gave back to the pilots the intensity and professionalism they display when running through their routines.
