Description

This bottle is manufactured by my client to hold water, so I naturally chose blue as the background colour and the bottle sat on a white piece of perspex to help reflect light up into the glass. The product was placed on a tabletop and separated from the background so that the background could be lit separately, by lighting the background this also created a highlight and shadows within the glass. It was important to ensure there were dark lines down each edge of the glass and that the unique pattern showed up to give it form. A reflector at the front of the camera was utilised to catch and highlight the silver bottle top. The water ripples were added later to enhance the image.
