A Great Grey Owl, hunting, using the decaying stump of a fallen tree as a perch to hunt from. This image was captured in a meadow, in the Grand Teton National Park, during the Autumn, and for just a moment, the Owl posed on a stump adjacent to a the silver bark of an Aspen trunk, with the vibrant yellow Autumn foliage as a backdrop.
