Sony A7iii, 70-200mm
A rare morning in Dubai. Conditions that only form a couple times a year, if your lucky. The city covered in a sea of clouds with the dramatic skyscrapers protruding through. These are mornings I dream of. Mornings that are very close to my heart. This marked the start of a new part of my life. I had just relocated to Dubai. I heard there was possibility of the famous fog to make an appearance. I woke up at 4am to no visibility outside my apartment. But this only meant one thing. I managed to get roof top access at a 60 story building. Using my Sony A7iii and a 70-200 I snapped away at sky scrapers lining Sheikh Zayed road. I remember it so vividly. Standing there, on the edge of a 60 story rooftop above the clouds. It was a exhilarating feeling and I managed to capture one of my favourite images of all time. I wanted to convey a sense of dream with this image. Similar to how I was feeling. It almost didn’t seem real. What a great welcome to a new life in Dubai.
