Description

An umpire decides to perform a yoga routine as the players took a sanitiser break during the 1st day of the recreational cricket season which was delayed by the Covid19 Pandemic. it required me to move quickly to capture the image as I thought that it would make a great photo with the umpire in a strange position stretching after standing for 40 overs and just the stumps in frame, it also shows the often forgotten officials at a recreational level and the dedication they give to the sport. Taken at Richmond Cricket Club, Old Deer Park, Surrey Camera and Lens: Nikon D700 + Nikkor 400mm f/2.8 + 1.4 Teleconverter. Settings: 1/4000 at f/4, ISO 400, 550mm
